InfusionPoints Internship Program Structure

Phase 1: Training & Onboarding
The internship begins with a comprehensive onboarding and training period. Interns receive access to technical training resources, including Udemy courses and FedRAMP Monday Muse videos, to build foundational knowledge in cybersecurity and cloud solutions. During this phase, interns are introduced to InfusionPoints personnel, set up their workstations, and participate in weekly sync meetings. The goal is to ensure every intern is equipped with the tools, accounts, and guidance needed to succeed, while also starting their journey toward professional certification.
Phase 2: Project Shadowing
After onboarding, interns rotate through several core teams—Advisory, Engineering, Cloud Operations, and Security Operations—to gain hands-on experience across the organization. This phase immerses interns in real-world projects, allowing them to participate in meetings, review and edit documentation, and contribute to team blogs. Activities include threat hunting, compliance reviews, cloud operations, and more. Weekly syncs keep interns connected and supported as they develop practical skills and learn from experienced professionals in each discipline.
Phase 3: Certification & Presentation
In the final phase, interns focus on achieving the Amazon Solutions Architect certification, applying the knowledge and experience gained throughout the program. They also prepare and deliver Monday Muse presentations and contribute to team blogs, sharing insights and lessons learned. This phase emphasizes professional growth, communication skills, and readiness for full-time employment opportunities at InfusionPoints or in the broader cybersecurity field.
