Dana joins the Advisory team at InfusionPoints as a “seasoned” IT professional with broad experience that spans 40+ years across Retail, Energy/Utility and Banking industries. Her father was in the military so the family moved around a lot but settled in and around Fort Meade, Maryland and call Maryland her home for 30 years. NSA offered an intern program for rising high school seniors and she was accepted in to that program as a computer operator. Eventually she moved over to work for Giant Food and held various positions in Operations, Application Development, LAN/Desktop Support and some project management. When Ahold bought Giant Food, she moved down to the parent company based out of Greenville, SC to lead a team of Intel Infrastructure project coordinators. Later, at a time when Ahold was having financial difficulties she moved to North Carolina to work for Lowes Home Improvement where she could continue developing her project management capabilities. During her first major project at Lowes, Dana met Gary and Jason who helped deliver the company’s first Employee (HR) Portal. What an amazing accomplishment! Gary left Lowes first to start InfusionPoints and then Jason left to join him. Over the years Dana has watched InfusionPoints grow and beamed with pride “that she knew them when” and was so excited at the opportunity to be part of this team!  She holds the following certifications: Project Management Professional (PMP), Professional Scrum Master (PSM 1), Project Management Institute Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) and is currently studying for AWS Cloud Practitioner. Outside of work, Dana is surrounded by men in her life, first, her husband (the oldest child), then two sons and three grandsons, all of whom make for a very crazy life! She finds peace and comfort volunteering with her congregation and Christian ministry.  ​
