Shirl is the Chief Financial Officer and HR manager for InfusionPoints, a position she has held for over 10 years. She is responsible for accounts payable, payroll and various HR and back office tasks. When not at work, Shirl has a number of volunteer positions within the county. She is the board chairman for The Child Abuse Prevention Team, a Guardian ad Litem Volunteer, Special Olympics Coach and executive board member of Special Olympics Wilkes County and Arts and Culture Chair of the North Wilkesboro Woman's Club. In her spare time, she is dedicated to keeping her special needs son who has Down Syndrome, involved in various events within the community, and spending time with her two grandchildren. Shirl also loves spending time with her family, husband, and her two other children.
