InfusionPoints Partnered with RSA SecurID® for Successful FedRAMP JAB P-ATO
NORTH WILKESBORO, NC., May 4, 2022 - InfusionPoints, LLC, a FedRAMP Advisory, Third Party Assessment Organization (3PAO), and Authority to Operate on Amazon Web Services (ATO on AWS) partner, announced today that its work with SecurID®, an RSA Business, to achieve FedRAMP authorization has resulted in a Provisional Authority to Operate (P-ATO) being issued by the Joint Authorization Board (JAB).
“InfusionPoints was able to leverage all of our past experiences and expertise, as well as our newer FedRAMP acceleration capabilities to help guide SecurID through the JAB process,” said Jason Shropshire, Chief Operating Officer at InfusionPoints. “SecurID has differentiated itself in the FedRAMP Marketplace as a JAB Authorized multi-factor-authentication focused solution.”
Shiloh Casey, Director of Advisory Services at InfusionPoints adds, “This project was an exciting endeavor for the InfusionPoints engineering team, giving the team the opportunity to combine their FedRAMP security subject matter expertise with their AWS architecture design, build, and deployment capabilities.”
SecurID partnered with InfusionPoints at the start of their FedRAMP journey to perform a gap assessment of their commercial SaaS environment. This partnership then transitioned into SecurID tapping InfusionPoints to complete the FedRAMP Moderate System Security Plan documentation package along with consulting services for the SecurID FedRAMP environment. SecurID received additional support from InfusionPoints by leveraging its field of AWS certified experts to efficiently build a FedRAMP-compliant environment within AWS GovCloud leveraging automation.
“SecurID has a long history of providing identity assurance solutions to the Federal market,” said Kevin Orr, President of RSA Federal LLC. “This certification allows RSA Federal customers to draw on SecurID’s experience to secure and accelerate their cloud journeys.”
SecurID was prioritized by the JAB in February of 2021 and transitioned into JAB review in November of 2021. The JAB review consists of Chief Information Officers from the Department of Homeland Security, General Services Administration, and the Department of Defense. SecurID had well-prepared subject matter experts answer intricate questions regarding the implementation. The JAB then performed a detailed review of the control implementations laid out by InfusionPoints within the System Security Plan along with the thirteen attachments. This detailed review concluded with the JAB granting SecurID Access a FedRAMP JAB P-ATO.
