Introduction
InfusionPoints is committed to protecting sensitive security information for cloud service providers and the customers they support. This policy describes the systems covered by our vulnerability disclosure program, how to report potential vulnerabilities, and our expectations around public disclosure.
We encourage researchers to contact us when they identify a real or potential vulnerability in an in-scope InfusionPoints system.
Authorization
If you make a good-faith effort to follow this policy during security research, InfusionPoints will consider your research authorized. We will work with you to understand and resolve the issue quickly and will not recommend or pursue legal action related to research conducted in accordance with this policy.
If a third party initiates legal action against you for activities conducted in accordance with this policy, we will make this authorization known.
Research Guidelines
Under this policy, authorized research means activities where you:
- Notify us as soon as possible after discovering a real or potential security issue.
- Make every effort to avoid privacy violations, degraded user experience, production disruption, or destruction or manipulation of data.
- Use exploits only to the extent necessary to confirm a vulnerability’s presence.
- Do not use an exploit to compromise or exfiltrate data, establish persistent command-line access, or pivot to other systems.
- Give us a reasonable amount of time to resolve the issue before any public disclosure.
- Avoid submitting a high volume of low-quality reports.
If you establish that a vulnerability exists or encounter sensitive data, including personally identifiable information, financial information, proprietary information, or trade secrets, stop testing, notify us immediately, and do not disclose the data to anyone else.
Unauthorized Test Methods
The following testing methods are not authorized:
- Network denial-of-service testing, distributed denial-of-service testing, or any other testing that impairs access to or damages a system or data.
- Physical testing, including office access, open doors, or tailgating.
- Social engineering, including phishing, vishing, or other non-technical vulnerability testing.
Scope
This policy applies only to the following systems and services:
*xbu40.io*.infusionpoints.com*vnsoc360.com
Any service not expressly listed above, including connected services, is out of scope and is not authorized for testing. Vulnerabilities found in vendor systems are also outside this policy and should be reported directly to the vendor under that vendor’s disclosure policy.
If you are unsure whether a system is in scope, contact vdp@infusionpoints.com before beginning research. If you believe an out-of-scope system should be tested, contact us first so we can discuss it.
Reporting a Vulnerability
Information submitted under this policy will be used for defensive purposes only, including mitigating or remediating vulnerabilities. If your findings include newly discovered vulnerabilities that affect all users of a product or service, and not only InfusionPoints, we may share your report with CISA for coordinated vulnerability disclosure. We will not share your name or contact information without express permission.
Submit vulnerability reports by email to vdp@infusionpoints.com. Reports may be submitted anonymously. If you provide contact information, we will acknowledge receipt within three business days.
What to Include in a Report
To help us triage and prioritize your submission, we recommend that reports include:
- The location where the vulnerability was discovered.
- The potential impact of exploitation.
- Detailed steps needed to reproduce the vulnerability.
- Proof-of-concept scripts or screenshots, when helpful.
- English-language details, if possible.
What You Can Expect from Us
When you share contact information, we will coordinate with you openly and as quickly as possible. We will acknowledge receipt of your report within three business days.
To the best of our ability, we will confirm the existence of the vulnerability and be transparent about the remediation process, including issues or challenges that may delay resolution. We will maintain an open dialogue as we work through the issue.
