Washington D.C.

Gary Daemer, CEO of InfusionPoints was invited to speak at a Women's Chamber of Commerce event Thursday March 5th 2020 about the new DFARS Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) program.  In an attempt to secure the DoW's supply chain, the DoW built upon current security standards to mandate a certification program in order to work with the DoW. This requires accountability from the DoW's contractor's and their sub-contractors to prove compliance with federal regulations like NIST SP 800-171. The DoW wants to ensure security is a top priority throughout their supply chain. Prior to the certification program contractors were able to attest to their compliance. Now, contractors will be audited by a CPAO in order to receive a certification demonstrating their cyber security maturity hygiene level. The U.S. Women's Chamber of Commerce gives voice to the collective strength of women in the U.S. economy. Using a platform of influence, innovation, and opportunity, we work with and for our members to grow successful businesses and careers.
